IIT Ropar accepts the JEE Advanced entrance exam for admission to the B.Tech. course. In 2025, the cutoff ranks for General AI category students ranged from 2357 to 13105 for B.Tech. admission. Therefore, yes, it is possible to get into IIT Ropar with a cutoff rank of 7000. However, which branch you will be admitted to will depend on the branch-wise cutoff ranks released for IIT Ropar.

Candidates with a cutoff rank of 7000 can get the below BTech branches for admission at IIT Raopar.  

IIT Madras BTech cutoff 2025 has been released for Round 1, wherein, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is the most competitive specialsiation with a closing rank of 171 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is B.Tech. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering with a cutoff rank of 6926. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the BTech course must secure a rank upto 171 to be eligible for IIT Madras 

IIT Madras admissio to the BTech course is based on JEE Advanced scores, followed by JoSAA counselling process. 

IIT Kanpur accepts JEE Advanced ranks for admission to the BTech and other courses. JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to IIT Kanpur. The round 1 cutoff for the General AI category candidates is ranged between 270 and 9662. the lowest rank one can achieve is,  270 for B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering for the General All India category candidates. In addition to that, CSE was the most competitive course among all the courses. Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the CSE still having the lowest rank of 142. Session 1 (January 2025) result was declared on February INR 11, 2025 .

Session 2 (April 2025) result was released on April 18, 2025 .

Use whichever session gives you the higher percentile for the ACPC counselling and BGKV seat allocation.

The JEE Main 2025 results, which are used for admission to Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT), were declared in two phases. The results for Session 1 (January exam) were announced on February 11, 2025, while the Session 2 (April exam) results were released on April 18, 2025. RJIT considers the best JEE Main score from both sessions for admission through MP DTE counseling. These result dates mark the start of the counseling and seat allocation process for B.E./B.Tech programs at RJIT.
