Hello Aditi,
I am sure you would have started studying for your 12th quite some time back. If this is so then you don't have to worry much. Since syllabus for both is same, the difference is only in pattern of exam. Give some time for answering mock exam for both. Depending on how you score in these exams, prepare for the final exam with more attention given to weaker subjects.

Hello Rakesh,
It's quite tough to prepare for these two exams in just five months. But, what is impossible in this world? Begin with making a timetable for study of different subjects and practice sessions of mock exam. Have some time assigned for relaxation too. Make an attempt.

It will depend on the score you get and also on the cutoff for admission. There are many colleges which take admission on the basis of JEE Mains.
Some of the colleges are:
1. Delhi Technological University (DTU).
2. National Institute of Technology.
3. NITK – Surathkal.
4. NIT – Trichy.
5. Birla Institute of Technology.
6. BIT – Mesra.

Hello Proverb,
AIR in JEE Mains of previous years has actually no relevance from this year, since AIR is going to be prepared by utilizing marks obtained only in this exam. In earlier years, marks obtained in class 12th were counted for preparation of AIR. Hence, you should not worry about your rank, but study well.

Hi Ajit,
All the students of India are now required to give only one exam to get admission in a medical college. Unfortunately, it is not for engineering admission. JEE Mains can get you admission in only limited colleges. You need to appear for CET to get admission in different states.
