Atish ! there are some institutes who not only considers JEE mains score but also conducts their own entrance examination to allot the seats.they offer high scholarship based on your score in their entrance examination.here are some of these institutions:
1.SRM
2.BITS
3.Lovely Professional University
i have heard that Lovely Professional University is doing exceptionally good in this discipline.this university is having a tie-ups with more than 50 + countries which provides an excellent platform to get international exposure.

Hi Saurabh,
It'll be a little difficult to say anything about VIT because last year around 4,720 students were offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai.
Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling.
All major branches like CS, EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in chennai campus.

I suggest you to prepare for jee main and try to get into IIT ratther than taking admission in college you will not regret after getting into IIT

Don't worry if you didn't got good marks in JEE mains,there are many premier colleges where you can get admission by availing high scholarship.Chandigarh university is good but there are some institutes that are doing much better.along with good education they provide platform where one can implement his innovative ideas.here are some of these institutes:

Getting a college is hard after scoring not so well in mains .but if are sc/st there is hope for.wait till official jee mains rank is not declared they might call u for councelling if u are sc/st.
