Since VITEEE syllabus is similar to the 12th standard qualifying exam, the students can use the NCERT books to prepare. However, the students are also advised to check other important reference books so that they can have a deeper knowledge of the topics that are listed out in the syllabus.

No, the unattempted questions in the VITEEE paper will not be marked negatively. These questions will not be considered when the papers are being scored. Students are encouraged to attempt all questions in the exam since wrong answers are not negatively marked.

VITEEE will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. Out of the given four options for each question, the student will have to select the correct one and submit it. More than one option cannot be selected. The questions will be prepared from the official syllabus.

No, physical calculators will not be allowed in the GATE exam 2026. Candidates will be provided with a virtual calculator on their screen to attempt the questions. Candidates are advised to be well acquainted with the virtual calculator to solve questions with accuracy and speed.

No. There is no provision for rechecking or re-evaluation of the SITEEE 2026 result.

Candidates who do not wish to take admission through SITEEE 2026 can also apply to the particiapting institutes based on their JEE Mains scores or any other state engineering entrance exam.

Candidates are only allowed to carry their admit card along with their government photo ID proof. Students must not carry any electronic devices inside the SITEEE exam centre.

Yes, candidates who are still appearing in 10+2 can fill the SRMJEEE application provided they will have to submit their qualification details during the document verification which means by the time the SRMJEEE exam is to be held, students must have qualified in the 10+2 exam.
