The duration of BTech (LE) is three-years.  For the students admitted under the lateral entry scheme in BTech, the maximum period within which a student need to complete the academic programme is six years. The last round closing rank was 135981 for Computer Science Engineering followed by 137916 for CSE Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admission to most of the IIIT Hyderabad courses is entrance exam-based.  Admission to M.Tech programme is based on entrance exam and subject to a valid score in the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGEE) conducted by the institute. For M.Tech in PDM, however, a valid score in GATE/ CEED exams is also accepted. Other eligibility criteria includes A pass in BE/ BTech/ ME/ M.Tech (all branches), other relevant PG degrees.
