BIT Mesra Cutoff for BTech CSE is based on JEE Main scores followed by the JoSAA and CSAB Counselling up to Round 8 is Seat Allotment result. Only candidates with a valid scores in JEE Main are called for the further process of counselling. Graphic Era University accepts JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main scores and conducts its own entrance test, GEUT, for B.Tech admissions. They also consider scores from state-level exams like UK JEE and UP JEE, as well as management aptitude tests like CAT, MAT, and GMAT. Minimum eligibility includes passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The university also conducts its own entrance test called the Graphic Era University Entrance Test (GEUT) for admission to B.Tech programs. GEUT is a computer-based test that assesses candidates' aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

In B.Tech, Government college of engineering amravati (GCOEA) has got the 102 rank out of 170 in India as per the 2023 surveys. Placements in this college is good and also offers internships to the students.The college infrastructure and environment is too good including greenery. The cultural and sports events was conduct excellently by the management. Most of the students feels that their is no friendly environment for both boys and girls. Canteen facilities are not up to the mark and hostel facilities was good.  Maintenance charges were affordable by the students.
