The goal of the B.M.S. College of Engineering is to produce engineers who are ready for the workforce and to give students an excellent education. To facilitate this, the school collaborates with university committees from AICTE, VTU, NBA, and NAAC in addition to quality assurance committees, and participates in several quality assurance audits both internally and externally. The BMS College of Engineering has received multiple honours and recognitions from respectable platforms and organisations, which is another motivation to choose to study engineering there. ATLASSIAN, which hired two individuals, offered the most package, Rs 48 LPA; CSE and ISE average 9 LPA. Furthermore, COHESITY paid Rs. 40 LPA and employed one student.

In UPSES these are the top branches with good placement and facility-

1- Applied Petroleum Engineering Upstream

2- Chemical Engineering Downstream

3- Automotive design engineering

But its not the matter of stream its actually the matter of interest, whether you're interested in these streams or not, there is too much students in these three streams in UPSES, but these branch have high scope in UPES like private colleges but CSE has the scope all over the India. So just go with your interest, if you choose upper three then there is high chances that you get placed, and in CSE you can also be placed but not have a surety in UPES.

My first recommendation would be Petroleum Engineering since it is the core branch of UPES and hence all the facilities and all things are to be provided by the institute in an excellent manner to petroleum students than to any other branch.

Coimbatore and Bangalore campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has a high ranking as compared to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeedam The coimbatore Institute also has high rankings and reviews from students as compared to AVV.The  Coimbatore is ranked 9 out of 17 while AVV is ranked 10 out of 17 . The Placement records and the placement rate of  SSN are more than that of AAV there are a large number of companies that visit Coimbatore Institute as compared to  AAVThe the highest Package offered by Coimbatore Institute is about 4 LPA and the average Package offered is nearly 3.0 LPA. The highest package offered for by AAV is nearly 6 LPA and the average package offered by AAV is 4 LPA. The Institute differs in its infrastructure and faculty. 

It also has 9 research programmes for those pursuing higher education and PhDs. Courses consist of both classroom training and outbound training.
