YMCA admits students on the basis of their merit or performance on the admission exam. Admissions to BSc, BA, BBA, BCA, and MA programmes are merit-based. Admission to programmes such as MBA, BTech, and M.Tech requires a passing score on admission tests. Admission to the BE/BTech curriculum is contingent upon passing both the LEET and JEE Mains exams. The BTech programme at YMCA University demands a minimum of a 50% grade point average in Science for class 12 coursework. When selecting candidates, the results of the HSTES and JEE Main are also taken into consideration.
