A pass in a bachelor's degree in any field with 45% marks in aggregate. Must have qualified in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Govt of TS. GATE is not a prerequisite for applying to SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur's M.Tech programmes. Admission to SRMIST's M.Tech programmes is contingent upon meeting certain requirements, including qualifying exam scores (e.g., 12th grade or equivalent), direct admissions based on academic performance, and results from entrance exams other than SRMJEEE (e.g., JEE Main, SAT, or other national/international entrance exams). GATE is not stated as a prerequisite for SRMIST M.Tech admissions.
