The duration of all M.Tech courses at BITS Pilani is two years. Each M.Tech course has 4 semesters in it and each course is offered in full-time mode only. The tuition fee for the BITS Pilani M.Tech course can be charged on both per annum and per semester basis. VIT tuition fee is different for Group A and B courses. Fee will be according to programmes that students have to choose to study in institutes. For Group A programmes, total annual fee is INR 1,76,000, and for Group B, it is INR 1,98,000.

Students allotted through the VITEEE counselling process cannot request to change their allotment. Since the allotment is done according to the student's rank and preference, the authorities will not accept any requests to make changes.

The maximum marks in the UPESEAT exam is 125 marks. Each question is for 1 mark while, there is no negative marking for any incorrect responses. 

The VITEEE counselling fee is INR 5,900 (inclusive of GST). During the counselling registration, the students will have to pay the counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. If the fee is not paid, then the students cannot participate in the counselling process.

The UPESEAT exam 2026 will have 125 questions in total. Physics, Chemsitry and Mathematics will have 35 questions each while the English language comprehension section will have 20 questions.

The UPESEAT 2026 exam will be held online for 2 hours.

The syllabus of UPESEAT and JEE Mains is similar. To prepare for UPESEAT exam, candidates should practice sample papers and previous year papers.

Candidates who are interested in getting admissions into the BTech course at BITS Pilani are required to appear for the BITSAT entrance examination. Candidates can appear for the BITSAT entrance exam by registering themselves on the official website of BITS Pilani. The institute conducts BITSAT each year once for several course admissions.

There are four subjects in the UPESEAT exam- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language Comprehension. While the PCM subjects are of classes 11th and 12th level, the English comprehension is of basic level.
