SRM Valliammai Engineering College is an autonomous engineering institution located in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. It was established on 9 September 1999. The college functions from a ten–storey building complex of 29,000 square metres to accommodate the demands of students. The Valliammai Engineering College is a part of the SRM Group of Educational Institutions, sponsored by the Valliammai Society. The Institution is certified with ISO 9001:2015 from TUV Rheinland. SRM Valliammai Engineering College Placements

SRM VEC meticulous placement cell is responsible for imparting soft skills and foreign language training to graduating students to prepare them for placements in esteemed companies. The college ensured a 90% placement record in its SRM VEC Placement 2020 session.

 The key highlights of the SRM VEC Placement 2020 are as follows:

1.A total of 449 students were placed at reputed companies around the country.

2.The Computer Science and Engineering department witnessed the highest number of placements. 

3.Candidates received successful placement across 17 national and multinational corporations. 

 The 2020 campus recruitment session witnessed drastically higher placements than the year before.

ABES Engineering College is located in Ghaziabad. It is approved by the University Grant Commission of India and accredited as "B" grade by NAAC . According to the NIRF 2023 Rankings, it holds a position in the Top 250 Universities and colleges of India. 

If candidates want to join ABES college, they must fulfil basic criteria that demand programmes like BTech, and students must give an exam called JEE Main with 60 percent aggregate marks in Class 12.

For MCA, candidates must take the CUET exam and for an MBA, they must have an undergraduate degree from well-known university.

ABES Engineering is UGC approved and accredited by NAAC a "B" grade but its overall a really good college in terms of placement and internships . As the NCR location increases its charm .

Placements: The college is very good in terms of placement. The college do provide us with stipend internship to some students. The highest package offered was of 61 LPA. Three average package offered was of 4.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very great and have well furnished classrooms and th  e walls are painted. The classrooms are very big and do have Wi-Fi everywhere. The sports facilities are also great and do have all the types of facilities available.

Faculty: The teachers are very well educated from the top universities and are very helpful in nature. The teachers are very friendly and teach us in a very disciplined manner.

The college offers no. of placement opportunities to their students and the emphasis is placed on developing students skills. The labs are up-to-date, and students are encouraged to explore and innovate idea using their creativity. The college provides workshops by industry experts and access to 3-D printers for student projects. Placement training is given, and the staff is helpful. Hostel facilities are also available for students, and there is a mess and canteen for students. There are designated areas for studying, playing, and working on projects. The college also organizes various intercollege and university fests, providing students with exposure and opportunities to interact with students from other colleges. Additionally, the college is being upgraded to a university.
