GCET cutoff will be released online. While preparing GCET cutoff, authorities will consider different factors of entrance examination. Some important factors that will be considered while preparing cutoff are previous year cutoff trends, number of available seats for admission, total number of candidates applying for a particular course and college, difficulty level of exam.

GCET cutoff will consist of minimum marks that candidates have to secure in entrance examination for higher chances of admission. Candidates who meet required GCET cutoff will have higher chances of admission. However, along with GCET cutoff, other factors such as preferences, category and more will also be considered for allotment. Based on cutoff, merit or admission list will be prepared for GCET counselling.

Students seeking admission to the MCA course of Anna University must register themselves online by visiting the official site of the University. Anna University BTech admission is based on the TNEA counselling round. For Anna University BE admission also, candidates need to appear for the TNEA counselling. TNEA written exam has been scrapped and the counselling is based on Class 12 marks. Anna University allocates seats on the basis of the TNEA rank list.TNEA is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu to offer admissions to candidates in various engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

SSN Colleg of Engineering BE cutoff is based on TNEA scores followed by the counselling. During the SSN College of Engineering cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 409 and 9075 for the General All India category candidates. For BE in Chemical Engineering, the cutoff closed at 7940. In 2022 and 2021, the last round closing ranks were 7884 and 4807, respectively for the same specialisation.
