Yes, BITS Pilani admission is based on candidates' performance in GATE/ GPAT/ BITS HD entrance exams, except for ME in Software Systems. Admission to ME in Software Systems is conducted only through BITS Software System HD Online Test. Candidates seeking admission to BITS Pilani ME course must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

Pune University BTech admission is subject to a valid score in Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. However, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main/ MHT CET are also considered for admission. Pune University BTech Agricultural Engineering admission is offered based on ICAR AIEEA scores. Candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with relevant subjects to apply for UniPune BTech admission. No, GATE is not compulsory as a valid rank in CEED is also acceptable. GATE is just one of the criteria for selection. Hence, candidates without a GATE score can also apply. Apart from this, it is necessary for each aspirant to meet the eligibility requirements or else they shall not be able to pass the document verification round even if selected based on the entrance test score.
