Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. The marking schemes change each year. Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers to some of the questions.

The candidates will be provided with the information on the marking scheme in the “Instructions to Candidates” section at the time of examination.

However, the only aspects of the JEE Advanced 2026 exam that remain constant each year are:

• The exam will consist of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of three hours duration each.
• Both papers are compulsory.
• Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, which are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The selection to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.

Candidates aspiring to enrol in the BTech programme at IIIT Kottayam must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Also, the candidate should have a valid rank in JEE-Main exam based on which they can apply for the counselling process through JoSAA at IIIT Kottayam for the BTech programme. Selected candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at IIIT Kottayam for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.
