Around 90% of students got placed from IIIT Kota, which is really great. Students from electronics and communications and computer Science got placed in great companies. As per the official website, the the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 53.6 LPA and INR 14.6 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 181 offers were made and 83.01% placement rate was recorded during IIIT Kota placements 2023. The top recruiters of IIIT Kota in the past years were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Cvent, Samsung, etc.

Yes, as per IIIT Kota’s admission policy, it accepts JEE Main score for admission to its four-year BTech programme. However, gaining a valid score in JEE Main is not enough for admission to IIIT Kota. Candidates are also required to go through JoSAA counselling or CSAB counselling process to secure a seat in the institute.

A candidate should have completed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate to clear the eligibility criteria for the MTech course at K J Somaiya College of Engineering.
The entrance exams accepted by the college include GATE, PERA CET, MHT CET, CUET-PG, etc. The duration of the course is for two years.

BITSAT candidates are advised to leave their belongings with their parents or guardians accompanying them to the centre. However, if the candidates are coming alone, then the authorities will provide space for the candidates to deposit their belongings at the BITSAT exam centre. However, the candidates are advised to not bring valuable belongings as the authorities do not take any responsibility regarding the loss of belongings.

Candidates will be able to know the important what to do and what not to do instructions through the BITSAT exam day guidelines. The authorities advise the candidates to check the exam day guidelines carefully so that they do not face any problems at the examination centre. No. The candidates will not be allowed to carry their mobile phone to the BITSAT exam centre. The authorities will not allow the candidates to bring their electronic devices inside the centres. Some of the electronic devices that are not allowed in the BITSAT centre are - mobile phones, calculators, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, etc. If the candidates are found using any electronic device inside the centre, then they will be disqualified.
