MP NEET PG 2026 Counselling: Date (OUT), Registration, Choice Filling, & Seat Allotment

The authority will release the MP NEET counselling criteria online. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for MP NEET 2026 to know the minimum conditions for appearing for the counselling. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

Domicile: Domicile of Madhya Pradesh, or those who have passed MBBS/BDS from an institute located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, can participate in MP PG medical 2026 counselling.

All the other candidates can apply for the counselling of MP NEET PG/MDS 2026, but they will be allowed to participate only after the first round. Such candidates will be considered for seat allotment only when all the local candidates have been allotted a seat.

MP NEET PG counselling

• The applicant must have qualified NEET PG 2026.
• He/she must have passed MBBS from an institute recognised by MCI.
• He/she must have completed the compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2026.

Online Registration

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling for MP NEET PG/MDS have to register online on the official website of DME. The registration window will open twice, once before the first round of MP PG medical 2026 counselling and again before the mop-up round.

However, this registration is a one-time process. Candidates who have registered for the first round do not have to register for the mop-up round of MP NEET PG counselling 2026. The second registration window is to be used only by those candidates who could not enrol themselves before the first round of MP NEET PG/MDS 2026 counselling.

Candidates also have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500 (irrespective of their category) to complete this process. Upon completion, candidates must save and print a copy of the filed MP PG medical 2026 application form.

State Merit List

DME releases a list of the candidates who register for the counselling of MP NEET PG /NEET MDS and are found to be eligible for it. Candidates who have been included in this list are the only ones entitled to participate in the first and second rounds of MP NEET PG/MDS counselling.

Choice Filling and Locking

Candidates are advised to go through the fee structure of all the colleges and courses before filling them in the preference form. They must not fill choices—if allotted to them—they will not be able to join such institutes. Also, a candidate is free to fill in as many choices as they want in the preference form.

Locking the choices before the last date is important. If a candidate fails to lock the choices filled, the system will take into account the last choices that were saved by the candidate.

MP NEET 2026 Seat Allotment

The competent authority allocates seats on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates and their position in the state merit list. Individual seat allotment lists are released for each round of MP NEET PG/MDS 2026 counselling. Round-1 and round-2 seat allotment results were announced online.

Reporting to the allocated institute

Candidates will have to report in person after allotment of seats. They will have to carry original certificates and the allotment letter at the time of reporting. They also need to pay the academic fees for the respective institute online for confirmation of their admission

DME, MP will release the Madhya Pradesh NEET PG Round 1 seat merit list on October 21, 2026. Candidates can check the seat matrix to know their State NEET PG rank. The authority will commence the MP NEET PG choice filling Round 1 on October 24, 2026. Candidates who are listed in the MP NEET PG merit list can fill their choices online. During the choice filling and locking process, they have to select a course and college in order of preference. After submitting the choices, don't forget to lock them. Candidates are allowed to modify their choices before locking. The authority will consider candidates' preferences, state merit rank, seats, and category for seat allotment.

The authority will release the MP NEET PG seat allotment result online on the official website. The link to check the seat allotment for MP NEET PG 2026 will be updated online. Candidates can check the seat allotment to know the status of the college and course offered to them. Those who receive the seat will have to report to the allotted college along with the required documents and fees.

After seat allotment, students will have to pay fees for confirmation of admission. Fees can be paid online through credit card/debit card/net banking. They can also use multiple modes of payment to pay the required sum of money.
