GCET/Goa BE admission result or merit list will be released online. No login details are needed to check result. It will be available as a PDF. The qualifying status for admission will be available through GCET result.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa will not release the final answer key of GCET online. Since no objections against the provisional GCET answer key will be accepted by the authorities, they will not prepare the final key. The decision of the authorities on the provisional answer key will remain absolute. The official GCET result will be prepared based on the answer key. In case of any problems, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities.

Candidates can calculate their probable secured scores using GCET answer key. Candidates will have to download answer key and compare it to their individual responses. Official marking scheme as per GCET exam pattern has to be followed.

Yes. Candidates are advised to attempt mock tests regularly to be well prepared for GCET. By attempting mock tests, the candidates will be able to understand how the entrance examination will be held. Mock tests will also help the candidates to know the current preparation progress and their commonly made mistakes. By identifying their commonly made mistakes, the candidates will be able to correct it so that the same is not made during the exam. Mock tests also help the candidates boost their time management skills.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 413. In 2023, it decreased to 412. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 213 to 196 for OBC, 123 to 109 for SC, 60 to 61 for ST, 75 to 70 for EWS, 26 to 28 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 396 and closing rank was 412. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 164 and 1165. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
