Jawaharlal Nehru University accepts JEE Main ranks, followed by the JoSAA counselling process for admission to the BTech courses.
JNU BTech cutoff 2026 ranged from 36117 to 44723 as per the round 5 cutoff. As per this range, the most sought-after branch was BTech CSE, with a closing rank of 36117. Students can check the table below to know the Round 5 cutoff range for all other All India quota categories.

The highest salary for M.Tech at DTU stood at INR 64 LPA for the academic year 2025. Other than the placements, DTU has been ranked 2nd position in the 'overall' category. In the 'University' category, it was ranked 42nd, while in the 'Engineering' category, it was ranked 30th. Hence, it is considered a good option for MTech. Further, as per the verified students' reviews on Shiksha, the institute offers all the necessary amenities to the students. Hence, DTU can be considered a decent option for MTech.

At VJTI college, there are no specific marks required for admission to Diploma courses. It is mandatory for candidates to have passed 10th grade/SSC examination and reached a minimum aggregate score of 35% from any recognized institute/board. And then you can get lateral entry in various other Engineering courses in different branches.

At Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, you can pursue a Diploma in Electrical Engineering for three years. You have to pay a total of 18000 for the course. To be eligible for this course, a candidate must have passed 10th/equivalent from a recognized institute/board.The student will receive a diploma from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai upon completion of the course

There are no marks required to get admission in Diploma courses in VJTI college. You can get admission after class 10th also. And then you can get lateral entry in various other Engineering courses in different branches.
