For Indian students seeking admission, the eligibility criteria for the B.Tech (AI&ML) programme at SIT are as follows: Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, they must have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational. Minimum Marks: The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the aforementioned subjects taken together. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, a minimum of 40% marks is required. Entrance Exam: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have good scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE), JEE (Main), or any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination. International Students (NRI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals): International students seeking admission, including NRI (Non-Residential Indians), PIO (Persons of Indian Origin), and Foreign Nationals, must fulfill the following eligibility criteria: Academic Qualifications: Similar to Indian students, international students must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They should also have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational. Minimum Marks: International students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the subjects mentioned above, taken together. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, a minimum of 40% marks is required. Entrance Exam: International students are exempted from appearing for entrance exams such as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE), JEE (Main), or any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination conducted in India.
