After the MET 2023 result is announced, the authorities will declare the counselling dates and details. Qualified candidates will be required to register for the MET 2023 counselling process and update their profile. The choice of courses and campuses has to be done in the order of preference. Seat allotment will be done as per the candidate's MET 2023 rank, preferences and seat availability. After allotment, the candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the required tuition fee before the final date.

Candidates will be eligible to apply for one or both sessions of MET 2025. If the candidates attempt both sessions of MET then the authorities will consider the best of the two scores for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating campuses. The candidates will be required to qualify at least one session to be eligible for admissions. Candidates are advised to attempt both sessions so that they have higher chances of securing the required scores to be allotted into their preferred course and campus.

The total duration of the SRMJEEE exam is 2.5 hours. Mode of test- Online Duration- Two hours and thirty minutes Language- English Total number of questions- 130 Questions type Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options from which only one option is correct. Subjects asked- Physics, Maths, Chemistry, English & Aptitude. For Biotechnology- Candidates have to appear for Biology instead of Mathematics. Marking scheme- One mark will be provided for every correct answer. There is no negative marking.

SRMJEEE is held in online proctored mode. This means candidates can take the exams from their homes and they do not have to visit any exam center for taking the exam. No, the authorities will not send the MET 2023 result through post or email. However, the authorities are expected to send the obtained scores to the candidates registered mobile number through an SMS. MET 2023 result will be available online. Candidates will be able to download the MET score card online after logging in using the required credentials. The score card has to be downloaded and kept ready for future use in the counselling and admission process.

SRMJEEE has MCQ-type questions. The exam has no negative marking and each question in the exam carry 1 mark. The maths section of the exam will have 40 marks, Physics and Chemistry will carry 35 marks each, English will have 5 marks and the aptitude section will have 10 marks. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 mins.

In SRMJEEE multiple choice questions are asked. The exam is held s an online proctored test. There will be 5 sections in the SRMJEEE question paper: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and Aprtitude. There is no negative marking in SRMJEEE. For each question answered correctly, candidates will be awarded 1 marks. The syllabus for SRMJEEE will mostly be from Class XI and Class XII topics studied by candidates for their Board or equivalent examination.

In cases when two or more candidates secure the same marks in MET 2023, the authorities will follow the tie-breaking rules. The candidates with higher marks in the Mathematics section will be given higher preference. If the tie still exists, then the candidates with higher marks in the Physics section will be given a higher preference. If the tie has not yet broken, then the candidates with higher marks in the Chemistry section will be allotted a higher rank.
