When a candidate fill out the application form online then he or she have to pay the GATE 2024 application fee and the application-fee is non-refundable. Online Net-banking payment details are mentioned below:
- While submitting the GATE 2024 application form, the website used to redirect to an online payment gateway page. Candidates need to choose the bank or mode of payment on this page, after which they are redirected to the website of the bank of their choice. - Candidates need to pay the fee via net banking or a debit card or an e-challan. - When a candidate will try to pay the fee he or she will be shown the fee amount and bank charges. Then, they have to confirm that the payment is for GATE 2024. - After successful payment of the GATE 2024 application form, candidates will be redirected to the GATE online application website. - If a student comes across any difficulty due to an internet connection or power failure, etc. And they are not sure whether the payment is processed or not, they need to login back to GOAPS and check the status of the payment. Students can also check the status with their bank. - Also, in case the fee amount is debited from a student's bank account and GOAPS does not acknowledge any fee payment, then the money will be credited back to the account within seven working days. - In such a case, a candidate may initiate a fresh payment using GOAPS even without waiting for the money to be credited back to the account, so that the application will be on time. - Once the payment is successful, a unique Fee Payment Number will be generated that must be saved by the candidate, as it will be used in the later stages when he/she fills out the GATE 2024 Application form. While filling out the GATE application form, if a power cut or internet connection fails during the submission of the application process, the candidate has to get back online to the GATE 2024 website. That means a candidate has to log in again to the GOAPS website and continue the application process. GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is conducted annually. It will be held for 29 papers in February 2024 (tentatively). It will be an online exam. According to the media reports, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur concluded its first phase of the placement drive for 2023. A total of 45 international offers have been grabbed in the first phase of IIT KGP placements for 2023. The institute registered a total of 48 offers in the CTC range of INR 50 Lacs to INR 2.64 crore.
