If you are happy with the college that you can get admission to with your COMEDK rank and feel that it will provide you with the education and opportunities that you desire, then there may not be a need to drop a year and attempt the exams again. On the other hand, if you are determined to get into a more prestigious college and believe that you can improve your scores, then you may want to consider taking a drop and preparing for the exams again. It's important to weigh the pros and cons and make a decision that is best for your individual situation.
