MET Institute of Information Technology has not mentioned any refund policies or rules for cancellation of admissions to the PG Diploma courses. Generally, most institutes offer refunds to candidates on cancellation of admissions according to UGC norms.

However, the GST paid on the fees will not be refunded to the candidates.

PG Diploma fees at MET Institute of Information Technology is INR 90,000 for the academic year 2026. This fees is a combination of all fee components such as tuition fees, examination fees, caution deposit and other fees. The aforementioned PG Diploma course fees will also incurr GST which can differ between academic years.

Yes, some specialised departments have a more selective intake to ensure personalised attention and better lab access. BTech course in Mechanical Engineering and BTech Instrumentation and Control offer 60 seats each. This smaller batch size often allows for better interaction between students and professors during complex practical workshops and research projects.

Yes,  JIS College of Engineering does accept the WBJEE entrance examination for various BTech branches. Students who want admission to this institute need to appear for the entrance exam, followed by the counselling process, to be able to gain a seat.

JISCE WBJEE cutoff 2026 will be released soon. In the meantime, according to the JISCE WBJEE cutoff 2025 for the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 40789 to 68240 for the BTech CSE branch. Hence,   you cannot gain admission to this college with a rank of 75000 if you belong to the General AI category. 

Note: The cutoff for other categories will differ.

No, candidates are not required to have computer Science as a mandatory subject in Class 12 board exams to be eligible for MET Institute of Information Technology UG Diploma admission.

There are no mandatory subjects or streams that mentioned in the eligibility criteria of UG Diploma at MET Institute of Information Technology.

No entrance exam is mandatory for MET Institute of Information Technology UG Diploma admission. Candidates who have cleared the Class 12 board exams can apply directly once they get their Class 12 board exam result.

Yes, candidates who want to pursue UG Diploma offered by MET Institute of Information Technology can directly apply for admissions. The only requirement to be eligible for MET Institute of Information Technology UG Diploma course is clearing Class 12 board exams.

There is not mention of UG Diploma fees being refunded to candidates at MET Institute of Information Technology in any circumstances. Generally, institutes may offer refunds in accordance with UGC norms upon cancellation of admissions.

However, the GST amount paid of UG Diploma fees will not be refunded to such candidates.

The UG Diploma fees at MET Institute of Information Technology is INR 1 Lacs for the academic year 2026. Candidates will also need to pay GST on the aforementioned fees whose amount can change according the government policy. 

Candidates are requuired to pay the aforementioned fees to confirm their admission.
