MIT WPU Pune can be the good option for pursuing B.Tech CSE. The eligibility criteria of B.Tech CSE is given below. Eligibility: 50% & above score aggregate in PCM/ PCB / Physics Mathematics Compulsory with Chemistry /Biotechnology or Biology/ Technical Vocational programs in 10+2 or equivalent examination. Admission criteria: For all B.Tech Programs candidates should appear in JEE/ MH-CET/ PERA CET.

Engineering and social sciences are totally different sciences. One cannot really compare these two streams. There are some courses which demand specific degree for applying eg: clinical psychology, MBA etc. The remaining courses ask for any degree. You can go through the courses mentioned on the website, and if your interests match the subjects of the course, you can apply for it. I am an engineer myself and chose Public Policy, Governance, and Development Studies as my preferences for admission after finding that these two courses are of my interest. According to the eligibility criteria at LNMIIT Jaipur, you are not eligible for admission to this college. You have only 52% in your 12th grade, where, as per eligibility criteria, you need to have an aggregate of 60% in your 12th grade. This requirement is mandatory, irrespective of your JEE Mains percentile. Your JEE Mains percentile is very good and will get you into some good colleges that only require 50% or less in the 12th grade. For LNMIIT Jaipur, the only option is to apply for the 12th grade through NIOS to get the desired percentile and then appear for JEE again with that score.
