Hello Rishabh Kumar, your percentile means that roughly 1.20 Lacs students have scored better than you. There are just 25K seats in all NIT's put together. For open or general category only 10K, approximately, seats are available. You can therefore see for yourself as to where you stand. Hello Revanth Kumar, let me inform you that out of total seats of 25K in all NIT's put together, reserved seats for ST's would be about 2000. Your ranking under this catagory is 15K and hence you can guess your chances. Hello Phalguni Badduri, let me first say that rank of 38K is quite good. But on the other hand, total seats in all NIT's put together is just about 25K and with reservation under different categories, seats available for general or open categories is just about 10K. Hence, you can fancy your chances against these many seats with your rank of 38K. However, past experience shows that many students going for deemed to be universities, state government colleges, private colleges etc. And as a result, students with up to 50K ranking do get seats in one of the NIT.
