Listen choose the branch according to your interest, Because there are many students who after enrolling in the CSE branch or IT branch regret as they don't like coding just clear in your mind, Which branch you are interested in! Because in today's era everyone wants to be in CSE or IT fields. Firstly stay down and think with a fresh mind, If you are determined to go with CSE branches then start coding believe in yourself work hard, and clear Competitive exams like JEE Mains, Advanced, or BITSAT and see yourself in your dream college with your dream branch. All the best.

Around 78% of students were placed in IIT ROORKEE in the metallurgy branch. You can change branches in IIT Roorkee it will be based on 1st year CPI. The average package of IIT Roorkee is 20lakh and the maximum offer was around 1.2cr last year. IIT Roorkee is of the best IITs and the Branch can be easily changed in IIT if you performed well in your 1st year so that you can join your dream branch but it depends on your CPI, talking about other courses in IIT Roorkee it does not matter because IITs and NITs give full freedom to the student so that they can work in their interested field.

If you want to pursue MBA you should go for the CAT examination and maintain a good percentile and that percentile decides your college for MBA.
