Aerospace engineering is a sub-discipline of engineering that deals with the design and development of aero planes and spacecraft. Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering are two fields of engineering that are covered in depth in this course. New technologies in aviation, defense systems, and space exploration are also covered in the course. Lovely Professional Institution is India's the largest and most prestigious private university. Students are very engaged in the field of vehicle research and activities, thanks to the department and university's supervision. A student has an automobile club under the Society of Automobiles India, and teams have competed in several competitions by building vehicles in Supra SAE (Student Formula CAR), Baja SAE India, BAJA SAE USA, and Efficycle (LPU). In October of 2015, I hosted the SAE Efficycle event. The first international event of its kind, the organised International Go-Kart Championship, is a student-initiated automobile event that attracts participants from all around Asia.
