It depends on your interest. But most of the students are not aware about their interests. In fact most of us choose engineering because of the rat race in our society. Hope it helps.

In my opinion all the branches in NIT Kurukshetra are very good. There are only seven branches and all branches are well known I. e. CS IT, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronic communication engineering, Civil engineering and production engineering.

All branches are the best but it depends on your interest. I think after giving the JEE, we don't know what's our interest is, somebody knows their Interest and they take decisions based on interest. But most of the students don't know their passion.

No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. See there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed.

You are asking about computer engineering not computer Science. Computer engineering is related to more hardware than software. Therefore, US is the primary country I would recommend. I do not think Australia or UK would come anything near that. France, Germany, Dubai & Singapore may also have good opportunities.
