Yes, students can apply for UG engineering courses with 42% in Class 12 at Dayananda Sagar University, depending on the category. To apply in UG engineering courses, students must be eligible. The eligibility is to pass Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology /Computer Science /Electronics /Technical Vocational subjects with least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST & OBC category).

No, according to the eligibility criteria for B.E/B.Tech courses, the students are to get at least 60% in their 12th standard. Along with these marks, there are more criterion to be fulfilled.
