Yes. The CUSAT CAT exam is conducted once a year. Since the exam is held for multiple courses, it is conducted over a few days. Candidates must check the CUSAT CAT exam date 2026 to know the exam date for their course.

The GATE marks is the actual marks obtained by the candidate. It is calculated out of 100. On the other hand, the GATE scores is calculated out of 1000 using a formula of GATE normalisation process. The GATE result will be released on March 19.

IIT Guwahati will open the GATE 2026 answer key after the completion of the exam. The GATE answer key 2026 link will be activated on the GOAPS portal. The expected release date is the last week of February. To access the answer key, candidates need to log in using their enrollment ID and password.

As per the last year, the fee for challenging the GATE answer key is INR 500 per question. The details will be notified on the GATE official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can view and challenge the answer key.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key released by the GATE authorities can raise objections. The steps can be checked below -

  • Visit the GATE official website
  • Click on the GOAPS GATE candidate login 
  • Enter your credentials and select the answer key
  • Look for the answer and select objection option
  • Provide reasons to justify the question 
  • Make the payment and submit

Candidates must note that only provisional key can be challenged.

At the MET exam centre, the students will have to bring one valid identity proof. They are allowed to bring any one of the following – Aadhaa Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID, etc. No photocopies of the identity proof will be allowed.

It is hard to compare which has better placement stats, BTech CSE or BTech Mechanical Engineering, because DSMRU does not release the specialisation-wise placement data.  According to the college's placement report, the highest package received via DSMNRU placements in 2025 was INR 12.16 LPA. However, INR 1.80 LPA is the lowest. During the 2025 DSMNRU placement season, 68 students from a variety of courses, including BTech, MBA, BCom, etc., were placed.

No, the authorities will not accept digital copies of the MET admit card at the exam centre. All students will have to bring a print out of their hall ticket for verification. If the students do not have the physical copy of their admit card, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.
