The minimum TOEFL score required for admission to the University of North Florida is 63 for the Internet-based test or 500 for the paper-based test. The University of North Florida may set higher minimum TOEFL or related examination scores for some programs. The University requires a minimum SAT score of 1090 for admission, but there is no absolute SAT requirement, and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 for admission.

To book a PTE exam slot, follow these steps - 

  1. register on the "My PTE" portal.
  2. Log in, answer a few questons like -
    • "why do you wish to tae the PTE test"
    • "from where will you take the PTE test - your home country or somewhere else"
    • "which country are you aiming with the PTE test" 
  3. After anwering these questions, you will get options of the most suitable types of PTE exams based on your condition
  4. If you opted the reason for taking the PTE exam as "study" for higher education, then you will have to pick the "PTE Academic" option

Shortened from its original duration of 3 hours, the PTE exam is now conducted within 2 hours. However, there will be no change in the format, type of questions asked and the scoring criteria of the Pearson PTE exam. The significant change has been brought about by the reducing the total number of questions asked in the PTE exam, keeping rest everything just the same.

There is no such thing as a bad PTE Academic score. Every university would have its own PTE Academic score cut-off and students are required to achieve scores equal or higher than the set grade. Candidates should note that higher PTE Academic scores would automatically increase their chances of securing a seat at the university and also make them a front runner for any scholarships being offered by the university.

PTE exam is considered easier than others English test because you can memorize templates. But you need good typing speed and clear pronunciation for the computer to understand. This way you can score well in PTE exam.

Yes, the PTE Home Edition is available in India. Indian students can choose to take the PTE Home exam at any PTE test center across 22 cities in India. Students are advised to check the list of these 22 cities on the Pearson PTE official website.

Yes, you can get admission to the University of Otago with an IELTS score of 6.5 and 5.5 in one module. The University of Otago's English language requirements for the IELTS (Academic module) for postgraduate programs are an overall score of 6.5, with no individual band below 6.0.
