English hons. is much preferable, as it give you much wider scope of study and gave you extensive knowledge about history of English language and literature and after doing that you can become content writer , if you are good in writing. You can purse MA in English, and after that NET. So, that is the reason, why English hons. is much knowledgeable course for you.

Now, my answer is that if you have flair for this and have an interest and have been good ATIT please do. As to the scope, after Hons. with good division, you have very many scopes. You can try in the publications line and work for publishing Houses like Oxford, Tata McGraw hill Elsevier, Sage etc. You could be in editing or marketing and have opportunity to meet with authors and develop marketing skills in book selling. You can possibly do Journalism, Mass communication after doing Hons. You can pursue Masters in Public Relations too and plethora of opportunities will unfold its arms towards you once you successfully complete the Hons

Yes, one can surely get job abroad. But we must ask ourselves what special skills I have that the intended country needs. Many European countries are facing manpower crunch and are indeed looking for people with requisite skills. Just remember "Where there is will, there is way"!

Hi Divisha, The best colleges of India are:
1) St. Stephen college (cutoff 97% )
2)SRCC (cutoff 99%)
3)Hindu college (96.7%)
4) Hansraj college (96%)
These all colleges are affiliated to Delhi University. Cut-off is the % you get in 12 exam in the best of four subjects. Since you attained 93, you have strong chances of getting into colleges in the 3rd or 4th cut-off. All the best.
