The exam body conducts the VSAT exam in English medium only. All questions, including comprehension and reasoning, are framed in English. Students must be comfortable with English to interpret and respond to the questions accurately.

The difficulty level of VSAT exam is considered easy to moderate level. It is same as to school board exams or entry-level engineering entrance exams like COMEDK or SRMJEEE. The level of questions are based mainly on NCERT topics, hence, if candidates are preparing for the exam by referrring to the NCERT books, they have an upper edge over the competition.

The TS EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). It is conducted for all colleges in Hyderabad, not only for Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on May 11, 2025. In the VSAT exam, the question paper format is objective type (MCQs) in nature The questions test conceptual understanding and application-based knowledge. There is no negative marking in the exam.
