Yes, students can study at ETAMU without taking the SAT or ACT. The university has a test-optional policy for SAT or ACT scores.

Not submitting either score will not negatively impact admission chances. Other factors like high school GPA, extra-curriculars, and class rank is given priority when admitting students.

Following list of documents will be required on exam day. 

  • Original and photocopy of Photo ID proof such as Original Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter's Card/Permanent Driving License
  • Ration Card and Learner's Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof
  • Two clear black and white copies of ATMA admit card along with one original recent passport-size photo affixed on each of them
  • One black and white copy of the Registration form
  • Self Declaration form

Yes, you're eligible to apply to LM Thapar School of Management with 42 percentile in CAT 👍

They don't have a very high cutoff like IIMs. Selection is based on:

  • Entrance score (CAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT, etc.)
  • Academic background
  • GD/PI performance

That said, 42 percentile is on the lower side, so your GD/PI and overall profile will matter a lot.

You can apply, but prepare well for the interview to improve your chances 👍
