No, not all US universities are test-optional for undergraduate admissions. One of the popular Ivy League school - Princeton University does require an SAT or ACT score. Yale University also does not accept it until Fall 2025 intake.  There are universities like Columbia University which have officially announced the scrapping of SAT and ACT scores for undergraduate admissions. Some US universities may require SAT or ACT scores based on admission to a specific course. Applicants are required to check the test optionality option if it is available or not. If you fail in more than one subject, you can't give compartment exam, so you have to reappear for the 12th board exam. You cannot reappear for only three subjects. You have to appear for all the subjects.

Yes, you can join IBS Dehradun without appearing for the IBSAT exam. The institute accepts students mainly based on IBSAT performance. Admissions are also based on the valid scores obtained in national-level exams, such as CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT are exempted from appearing for the test. Hence, yes, you may join IBS Dehradun without appearing for IBSAT.

No, to get admission for the PGDM course at Uma Krishna Shetty Institute of Management Studies and Research, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Start with NCERT books (Class 6–12) for History, Geography, Polity, and Science. Read a good newspaper daily for current affairs.
