Which one you should accept will depend on many decision aspects which includes faculty, placements and specialization. GMAT is an international entrance exam that is recognised by any bschool or MBA programs around the world whereas CAT is national-level entrance test that is recognised by all institutes in India. GMAT tests can be scheduled in any given time frame which is chosen by the GMAT test taker however CAT is a standardized entrance exam in a one-year period. GMAT is computer adaptive and CAT is set in a fixed pattern. GMAT scores are valid up to five years while CAT scores are only useful for one year.
