The following conditions are needed to observe sustained (stable) interference:

  • The two sources should have a constant phase difference, i.e; they should be coherent.
  • The light waves need to have almost the same frequencies.
  • The sources must emit waves with comparable amplitudes.
  • The path difference should be within the coherence length.

Young's Double-Slit Experiment demonstrates the interference phenomenon. It provides strong proof for the wave nature of light. This experiment shows how due to constructive and destructive interference, two coherent light sources create a pattern of bright and dark fringes.

You should try to register for IELTS at least 1 or 2 months early. Test dates get booked fast, especially during busy times. The advance booking of IELTS exam also gives you more time to prepare for IELTS properly.

It depends. Some students find IELTS easier because it feels more real and friendly. The Speaking test in IELTS is face-to-face with an examiner, not with a computer like in PTE or TOEFL. But TOEFL has more academic-style English, and PTE gives fast results.

Yes, now you can take IELTS One Skill Retake. You can retake only one part like Speaking, Listening, Reading, or Writing. You don't need to do the full test again.

This is only for people who did the full IELTS test on computer and are not happy with one part. You must do it within 60 days of your test.

The IELTS exam fee in India 2025 is about INR 18,000. The price can change a little depending on the test centre. This fee is for both IELTS Academic and General Training. If you want to send your score to more universities or change the test date, you may need to pay extra.
