An example of the periodic motion is Earth's revolution. In this, the motion repeats itself after regular intervals of time. In oscillatory motion, the object moves back and forth about a mean position like a vibrating spring or pendulum. It is a type of periodic motion. Although, oscillatory motions are periodic, however, not vice versa. Oscillatory motion typically follows sinusoidal patterns and involves a restoring force.

No, IIT Delhi offers admission to its BTech course based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores only. Candidates selected based on exam scores are required to participate in the JoSAA counselling. This is the final criteria for admission. However, to be eligible for the BTech courses, students should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Science subjects (i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).

Most of the XAT accepting colleges conduct Personal Interview and Group Discussion for admission. Many colleges conduct Writing Ability Test instead of Group Discussion. Some institutions also ask for Statement of Purpose. While applying to a XAT accepting college candidates must check the selection criteria and prepare for it accordingly. It takes about a month for preparation so as soon as XAT gets over, get on to preparing for the WAT, GD, PI rounds.

It is unlikely that you will get admission as most of the B-Schools have minimum graduation score criteria of 50%. If you belong to Reserved category, you may get admission as the minimum score criteria for such candidates is 45%.

There are some B-schools which do not have minimum score criteria in graduation. So, you may try to seek admission in one of those institutions as 89% is a good score in XAT.
