Overview

Maharashtra SSC Exam Dates 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced Maharashtra SSC result 2026 on May 8. The exam was conducted from February 20 to March 18. The exam was conducted in two shifts-11 AM to 2 PM and  3 PM to 6 PM. The board announced the dates for verification of marks and obtaining photocopy of answer sheets. The application form for this can be submitted from May 9 to 23.

Q:   How can I check my Maharashtra SSC Result 2026?

Students can check the result at the official websites - mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, msbshse.co.in using their seat number and mother's first name. The SSC result 2026 Maharashtra Board released online mentions the student's details like roll number, and DOB, along with the marks scored by them in all subjects.

Students can also check their Maharashtra Board SSC Result 2026 via SMS. For this they need to type- MHSSC and give space and then type their Seat Number and then send this SMS to 57766.

The MSBSHSE SSC Result 2026 can also be checked via DigiLocker.

Q:   When will Maharashtra SSC 2026 exam be conducted?

Maharashtra SSC 2026 exam was conducted till March 18. The exam was conducted in pen and paper mode across various cities spread throughout the state.

Q:   Will Maharashtra board SSC exams 2026 be held twice a year?
A: 

According to the NEP 2020, Board exams is being held twice a year from the academic session. Students are not allowed to retain their best scores. However, the Maharashtra board is yet to release any official notification in this regard.

It is actually different for everyone since everyone has their own speed. It also depends on the paper- if its lengthy or not. There is a Cool-off time of 15 minutes in addition to the writing time. Use the 'Cool-off time' to get familiar with questions and to plan your answers. Read questions carefully before answering. Read the instructions carefully and you can analyze your entire question paper no matter which subject is it, and mentally set time for each sections. Since there are mcqs too, you can solve them in the 15 mins cool off time and thus save you a lot of time.

Maharashtra SSC exams are conducted offline in pen and paper mode. The exams are held for a duration of three hours. The Theory paper carries 80 marks. The internal assessment is held for 20 marks.
