AP ICET 2026 will be conducted in multiple sessions with different sets of question papers in both shifts. To make sure that no candidate gets an advantage or disadvantage because of the difficulty level of their shift, a process called normalization is used. AP ICET normalisation process adjusts scores to a common scale (like CAT and JEE) so that marks are fair for everyone across all sessions.

Ranks in Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 are given based on the marks obtained by candidates in APICET 2026 exam. The ranks are given as:
- The actual score (including decimal value) is considered while giving ranks.
- However, in the rank card, marks will be rounded off and shown up to two decimal places.
