Aptitude Test Problems in Physics by Krotov  is the most recommened book for JEE Advanced preparation by the toppers. This book is recommened for practising variety for aptitude-based problems.

The CTET admit card is important to appear for the exam as well as to check the results. Candidates need to carry their admit cards to the exam centre. Candidates without the hall ticket are not allowed to take the exam. The admission card contains roll number, which is needed to check result.

No. A watch timer of 3 hours will be available on the computer screen of all the candidates to monitor thir exam timing. A candidate cannot carry or wear a atch inside the exam hall. Also, candidates cannot carry mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones,  microphones, pagers, health bands or any other electronic gadgets, any printed/blank/hand written paper, log tables, writing pads, scales, eraser,  geometry/pencil-boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens/Scanner, wallets, handbags, camera, goggles or similar such items.

Yes, as per the official instructions of JEE Advanced, candidates are advised NOT to wear charm/taweez, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendant, badge,  brooch, clothes with big buttons. They are also advised to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.

IBS will begin the IBSAT 2025 slot booking in first week of October 2025. Registered candidates will be able to book the exam slot and download the online IBSAT admit card once the window is open. IBSAT 2025 registration will end tentatively in third week of December 2025.

PwD candidates having disabilities with at least 40% impairment as applicable,  are eligible for one-hour compensatory time for each paper  in JEE Advanced. to avail the compensatory time limit, PwD candidates must fill and the submit the requisite form as provided in the JEE Advanced information brochure during JEE Advanced registration.
