JEE prep rank of 2453 for an ST candidate is quite good to get an IIT. Generally to secure admission to newer IITs, candidates typically need to attain a rank higher than 4500 in JEE Advanced. So as you have a good score in your prep exam, you have a good chances of getting an IIT. Although your selection depends on various other factors such as your score in the JEE Advanced exam and your relative ranking within your category.

No, you are not eligible for the CAPF quota for MBBS in West Bengal 2024 if you are a retired CRPF person residing in AP:

The CAPF quota for MBBS is only available to wards, widows, or wives of defense personnel from the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

Wards of civilians or civilians working in AFHQ/MoD, DRDO, or wards of personnel from Para Military/CAPF are not eligible.

The facility is only available to one member of the family once in a lifetime.

To register for the CAPF quota, you must select "YES" when asked if you belong to the CRPF/BSF category.

To get admission to Government Model Engineering College (GMEC), Thrikkakara, through the KEAM exam, the required rank typically varies each year based on factors like the number of applicants and the specific engineering branch you're interested in.

After the NDA results are announced, it typically takes about 10 to 15 days for the Services Selection Board (SSB) to start issuing call letters or notifications. However, the exact timing can vary based on the candidate's batch and the availability of slots at the SSB centers.

Here's what usually happens:

  1. Result Announcement: UPSC declares the NDA written exam results.
  2. SSB Notification: Within two weeks, selected candidates start receiving information via email or through the official joinindianarmy.nic.in, nausena-bharti.nic.in, or afcat.cdac.in portals, depending on their service preference.

Newer NITs and IIITs: Some newer NITs and IIITs may have higher cutoffs, potentially accommodating candidates with ranks up to 70,000. However, securing a seat in CSE or EE at these institutions with a 72,000 OBC rank is still uncertain.

Private engineering colleges often have more flexible admission criteria. Institutions like Manipal University, VIT University, and LPU may offer CSE and EE programs with a 94 percentile, though it's essential to verify their specific admission requirements.

A 66 percentile may not meet the cutoff for top-tier institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or National Institutes of Technology (NITs) but achieving a 66 percentile in the JEE Main exam places you in a position to consider several reputable engineering colleges across India. Vellore Institute of Technology, university in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Lovely Professional University, university in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India.
