The SSC CGL cutoff varies for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams because they are at different levels of difficulty and have different objectives. Tier 1 is a screening test that is an objective-type test, generally with a lower cutoff, and it is used for shortlisting candidates for Tier 2. Tier 2 is more advanced, consisting of multiple papers, and hence has a higher cutoff. Tier 2 has a higher difficulty level, and it is essential to qualify for the final round. The total SSC CGL selection depends upon the aggregate performance in the two exams, that is, the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 test consists of 4 sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. All these sections have 50 questions. Each question is for 2 marks. In total, the test is to be completed in 60 minutes, and the maximum score would be 200. Negative marking is applicable at every wrong answer, and for that, 0.5 marks are deducted. Unattempted questions are not deduced. The Tier 1 exam is computer-based, and the candidate should score well in all areas of the test to qualify to take the Tier 2 exam.

The Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test conducted by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments is one of the exams that is taken by a large number of students. Admissions are done in various programs in various colleges depending on the rank scored in the test. In my opinion, it is quite difficult to get into a good college for the Computer Science and Engineering branch. Although, several factors play a crucial role such as income, caste, etc.

With 113,000 posts in EAMCET, it can be difficult to get a CSE seat in a top college. From last year's trend CSE closing levels in some of the best colleges include:

Closed positions at Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT) – CSE are approximately 60,000.
Growing Engineering Colleges – CSE closes at 70,000
The closing level of MVSR College of Engineering - CSE is approximately 80,000.
Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering – Closed ranking for CSE is nearly 90,000.
This year, the cutoff may be slightly higher or lower. It depends on
