Yes, Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garwhal University aka MAHGU conducts its own entrance exam for admissions to most of its courses. The students are shortlisted on the basis of valid score obtained in MAHGUEE. Followed by the entrance exam, the university also conducts group discussions and personal interview for admissions to some of its courses. LJ Institute of Engineering and Technology (LJIET) is accepting the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) score for admission to its MBA program. Candidates must have completed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks from any recognized university/institute. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.

As per the admission guidelines of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, admission to the four-years BE/BTech course is based on the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology or SAEEE. However, candidates must make sure to qualify for the BE/BTech eligibility criteria before applying for the course. Therefore, Sathyabama doesn't accepts JEE Main for BTech.

JEE Main scores are the main factor used for admission to B.Tech programs at IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), rather than just the CBSE class 12th percentage. Your CBSE class 12th percentage is still, nevertheless, a crucial factor in establishing your eligibility and, occasionally, in narrowing down your options for counseling. To increase your chances of getting into a premier engineering college such as IIIT or any other college of your choice, aim for a competitive score in JEE Main.

Depending on the regulations of the colleges taking part in COMEDK counseling, you can still be qualified for college counseling even if you passed your mathematics compartment exam and scored highly on the COMEDK exam. Gaining admission to engineering universities through COMEDK and taking part in college counseling are more likely if you have passed your compartment test and scored highly on the COMEDK exam.
