No, there is no entrance exam required for admission to RIT Chennai. For admission to UG course in Engineering at RIT Chennai, candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility requirements of the programme at the time of applying for admission. Moreover, the eligible candidates need to apply for TNEA counselling for the seat allotment. However, the institute do considers JEE score for Merit Management admissions.

No, Saveetha Engineering College ME admissions are purely entry-based. All candidates who wish to take admission must have appeared for one of the following entrance exams:

  • CET
  • TANCET
  • GATE

Moreover, the candidates must also fulfill the eligibility requirements, i.e., a minimum of 50% in graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised board or university.

IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded after the last round of cutoff. The cutoff ranks for the General All India category candidates was ranged between 3846 and 15321. The closing cutoff rank for BTech (Hons) CSE was 3846 in 2024, 3258 in 2023 and 3009 in 2022; which shows that the cutoff witnessed an improving trend for the course. For most of the courses, there was a fluctuating trend for during the past few years. The last-round closing Cutoff of various courses for the General AI category have been given in the table below to show the trend for the 3 years:

IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 3846 and 15321. To get B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of 9875. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get Mechanical Engineering was 19099. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for Mechanical closed at 7762

Indian students applying for universities abroad are not eligible for SAT fee waiver. However, US citizen students studying in 11th and 12th grades, in or out of US territories are eligible for a SAT Fee Waiver. 

SAT Subject Test fee waivers are available only for US citizen students studying in grades 9-12. SAT Subject Tests are not conducted for in India anymore, hence they are not applicable for Indian applicants. 

Note: Indian students who are applying for Indian universities are eligible to apply for SAT exam fee waiver based on their family incomes.
