Yes, CAT is a compulsory entrance exam for all candidates who are a resident of India to qualify for PGPM admissions at IIM Shillong. For NRI candidates, the GMAT is the mandatory entrance exam to qualify for IIM Shillong PGPM admissions. Candidates also need to fulfill the eligibilty criteria for PGPM admissions to apply for IIM Shillong admissions.

IIM Ahmedabad mainly considers CAT scores for the flagship PGP/ MBA programme. However, the institute also accepts other exams depending on the programme and category. These include GMAT/ GRE/ GMAT, etc.

The CAT cutoff for IIM Shillong PGPM admissions 2026 ranges from 50 - 75%. The general and EWS category candidates are required to score at least 75% in CAT exam to qualify for the PI round for IIM Shillong admissions.

The SC category is required to score 60% while the remaining categories are only required to score 50% in the CAT 2026 to qualify.

Yes, students can get into IIM Ahmedabad without appearing for CAT. However, this is applicable for courses other than flagship PGP/ MBA programme. Students seeking to join programmes, such as the BPGP or executive programmes. For those courses, students need valid scores of other accepted exams.

Yes, UV Patel College of Engineering accepts JEE Main marks for taking admission in the BE/BTech courses. The college also accepts score from GUJCET exam for BTech admissions. Candidates have to undergo counselling and fill the application form of college.

MAEERs Physiotherapy College generally does not accept admissions without entrance scores. Students have to appear for NEET/ PGPCET as per the programme. However, the college has some seats reserved under the NRI/ Management quota. Students may join college through those quota without entrance scores. To know the exact details, students have to contact the college.

No, the CLAT 2026 registrations have been closed for GNLU Gandhinagar BBA LLB (hons) admissions. The registrations window for CLAT 2026 was open between the months of August and November in 2025. Those candidates who failed to register for the exam during the aforementioned period are now required to wait for CLAT-UG 2027 to begin.
