The Karnataka Education Board plans to do away with the idea of second PUC (Class 12) supplemental exams. For the 2nd PUC board exams, the Karnataka Board has instead chosen to implement "three annual examinations," which are Exams 1, 2, and 3. Under the current examination scheme, students who fail one or more papers in the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exams are eligible to take additional exams administered by the Board. Students will have the chance to raise their score under the new module by keeping their top grades from the first, second and third exams.
