The NDA cutoff is the minimum score needed for candidates to pass the written exam and the SSB interview. UPSC sets the cutoff scores for both the written exam and the final selection. Candidates need to score differently on the written test and in the SSB interview to be eligible. The next rounds of the selection procedure are open to those who meet the NDA cutoff points. The NDA exam is used to select eligible candidates for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy courses. The SSC CGL 2023 test will only be offered in two stages. To be appointed, the candidates must pass both rounds of testing. The SSC CGL exam pattern was updated by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in order to speed up the hiring process. The descriptive Tier 3 exam is not included in the exam procedure, and the DEST has been combined with the Tier 2 exam. It is unclear if this alteration to the SSC CGL exam pattern is momentary or long-term.
