Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences offers a four-year BTech programme to the students. SHUATS admission 2022 for BTech is subject to a valid score in SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) for Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology and Dairy Technology specialisations. For the remaining BTech specialisations, admission is subject to online counselling conducted on the basis of merit (in the last qualifying exam). Firstly the candidate has to pass the 12th class exam with 50 percent marks for general and for reserved category 45 percent after they have clear the entrance exams conducted by University.

The selection is further done based on the candidates score of e-CHAT (Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test) exam. This entrance examination is conducted by IIHM Bangalore- International Institute of Hotel Management. Based on exam score, candidates are called for Group discussion and Personal Interview round for final selection. After all rounds cleared the students get selected.

MAKAUT CET or MAKAUT Common Entrance Test (CET) is an all-India level examination for admission to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and its affiliated colleges. It is conducted for admission to over 100 non-AICTE UG and PG courses, that cover BBA, BCA, BSc, MSc, BTTM, MTTM, and others. CET Board, constituted by MAKAUT, is resposible for conducting and releasing the results for CET every year.

If an applicant does not have English proficiency score they can submit standardized test scores as proof of proficiency in English. Listed below are minimum score requirements:

Candidates preparing for GAT PGT, conducted by GITAM University, must be aware of the GAT PGT exam pattern and syllabus. Begin with notes and textbooks first. Then make short notes that you find is important. Once you have completed one chapter, attempt mock test to analyse where you stand.

A student is allowed to participate in an GAT exam only once for each course and during a single phase. GITAM considers re-appearing as an unfair practice of submitting duplicate applications. Credentials for re-appearing students will not be provided, and such applications will be filtered at various stages of the admissions process. This includes checks such as using the same registered email address multiple times and other parameters
