The Rajasthan PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) is organised every year by different universities in the state. For the academic session 2025, the Rajasthan PTET exam is being conducted by VMOU, Kota. In 2023, the exam was held by Guru Govind Tribal University, Banswara, while in 2022, it was conducted by Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur.
The primary purpose of the PTET exam is to provide admission to eligible candidates in BEd courses across Rajasthan. After qualifying, candidates can secure admission in either the 2-year B.Ed program or the 4-year integrated BA BEd / BSc BEd courses, depending on their academic background.

For the academic session 2026, Rajasthan PTET exam for 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2 year BEd courses will be conducted in May 2026 (Tentatively) by the exam conducting body. Rajasthan PTET exam will be held for both 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2 year BEd courses. Pratap University, Jaipur offers B.Tech admissions in two – ways: B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral where the minimum eligibility criteria demand for the students to have completed class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory papers with at least 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks or above in aggregate. For lateral entry, candidates should have cleared a Diploma or equivalent examination with at least 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks or above in aggregate. There are no other tests required for admissions.

Dyal Singh College (DSC) at the University of Delhi accepts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to undergraduate courses. The final selection is based on CUET scores and e-counseling.
The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) admission process for 2024 has three phases:
Phase 1: CSAS application form
Phase 2: Selection of courses and college preferences
Phase 3: Seat allocation and final admission

The College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) accepts the following entrance exams:
JEE Main, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, UGC NET, OJEE, GPAT.

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune accepts scores from entrance exams like JEE Main and MHT CET. IIIT Pune offers B.Tech and BE programs, which take four years to complete.
In case of a tie, the JEE rank of the applicants will be considered.
IIIT Pune is one of the most famous colleges in Maharashtra and in India. It is AICTE approved and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, accepts the following examination marks for admission to its B.Tech programme: Symbiotic Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (SITEEE):
SIT conducts its own engineering entrance examination called SITEEE. Selection is based on the marks obtained in SITEEE or JEE Main or any state government engineering entrance examination .
